SCALE is a collaboration between regional employers and Orange County Community Colleges. We are working hard to ensure that the skills needed in the workplace translate to the skills students learn in the classroom. Many recent graduates have knowledge, but often lack the practical skills and competencies to meet real world job demands. Employers and students alike are craving a focus on verified skill attainment and we agree! This is where the SCALE project comes in.

SCALE aligns academic coursework and lab competencies to specific learning outcomes and the real life skills and job tasks that employees need to thrive. Through the SCALE project, employers are linked directly with student outcomes and educators from day one. This is an excellent and commonsense way to build enrollment in your classrooms while providing students with in-demand skills to fill available and exciting jobs.
